Experience the Capitol's Art in Person
Viewing the portraits at the Michigan State Capitol allows you to appreciate their intricate details up close. This immersive experience cannot be replicated online, making your visit truly special.
Take an Art Tour
Guided art tours are offered the first Tuesday of every month at 2:00 and are led by our Art Registrar, Shayla Croteau. These tours begin in our visitor center, Heritage Hall, at 323 Ottawa St. Lansing, Michigan. Guided art tours are free of charge and last about an hour. Please call ahead to confirm tour times.If you are unable to attend our monthly art tour or would like to bring a group of 10 or more visitors, please call to schedule an art tour in advance.
